Washington (dpo) – “Too expensive!”, “Too expensive!”, “Not realizable!” – With such criticism, US President Donald Trump is currently confronted about the planned wall at the border to Mexico. An offer from IKEA could now solve all these problems at once.
The Scandinavian furniture builder has offered the US “Börder Wåll” a practical ready-made solution that can be picked up from the nearest IKEA store, easily by using a Kombi car and quick installed at the desired location. With a total price of 9,999,999,999.99 US dollars, “Börder Wåll” is considerably cheaper than a conventional wall, which would be estimated to cost 15 to 25 billion dollars. According to government spokesman Sean Spicer, President Trump is currently reviewing the offer:
The simple, Scandinavian design (5-year warranty) consists mainly of press span with birch optics and can be assembled using an Allen key. A 12,000-page instruction with easy-to-understand pictograms makes the construction easy like a children’s games – unless a single screw is missing. “It will be good to be to have two people for the construction, so that one person can hold the wall while the second one is screwing,” says the IKEA’s offer.
In the basic configuration, the wall is 10 meters high and 3144 kilometers long, but can be extended both in height and length as desired.
IKEA has already announced plans to develop further products in the next few weeks, which will complement “Börder Wåll”. According to insiders, this is, for example, the “Glötz” watchtower or the “Råtåtåtåtåtå” self-defense system.
